Alycia Debnam-Carey is a Australian actor best known for Fear the Walking Dead and other TV series. Born in Sydney, Australia, she began acting when she was eight. Martha s New Coat was her first film she appeared in. Her TV debut was on an episode of the TV show McLeod's Daughter. In the sci-fi series The 100, she played a major character. It was based on a novel of similar name. She portrayed Commander Lexa who was the powerful head of the clans. In Fear the Walking Dead she was a strong leader of twelve clans. It was well received by the critics, and has been awarded numerous awards and nods. Jigsaw Girl & The Branch were short films that she starred in. She made her feature-film debut by playing the lead character in the acclaimed found-footage movie Into the Storm . Its commercial success was good, despite the mostly negative reviews.
